Introducing Ms. Prather, a highly experienced litigator who has represented hundreds of mediations for individuals and small business owners who have suffered losses With her extensive experience, she is dedicated to helping others resolve their cases. Ms. Prather has been named a Texas Super Lawyer by Texas Super Lawyers multiple times and is a board member of the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center. She is also member of the Texas Foundation and the Houston Bar Association. Also, she served as the former president of the Houston Bar Association Auxiliary.

About Kelly Prather

Ms. Kelly Prather is an attorney and mediator with over twenty-seven years of experience representing individuals and small businesses. A native Houstonian, she traces her roots back to her maternal great-grandmother, who was born in Houston's Fourth Ward in 1895.
Ms. Prather practices law in the Heights, where her maternal grandparents were raised and attended high school. They were the first in their respective families to graduate from college, both earning degrees from the University of Texas. Following in their footsteps, as well as those of her parents and brother, Ms. Prather also graduated from the University of Texas.
Ms. Prather graduated from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas, in 1989. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas in 1993 and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1996. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.
